David Clutterbuck

David Clutterbuck is one of the earliest pioneers of coaching and mentoring. He is co-founder of the European Coaching and Mentoring Council, for which he is now Special Ambassador, charged with spreading good practice globally. He holds a number of academic roles, including visiting professor at Henley Business School and Distinguished Research Fellow at The Conference Board. He is author or co-author of more than 75 books, including The Ethical Coaches’ Handbook, Coaching the Team at Work and Everyone needs a mentor. He has trained several hundred “ethical mentors” to support colleagues in working through ethical dilemmas. He leads a global community of researchers and academics in coaching, mentoring, leadership, diversity and inclusion and talent management, Coaching and Mentoring International. His research interests include the role of ethics in coach maturity and in the context of Artificial Intelligence and other emerging technologies.
